Is payRup a safe option to pay FASTag bills online?
YES! FASTag payments are 100% safe to be paid on PayRup. payRup offers best-in-class security for all your payments, as well as discounts and cashbacks every time you make payments.
How does the FASTag recharge work?
You can recharge your FASTag anytime and anywhere through Paytm. FASTag works on radio frequency identification (RFID), and with its help, the toll tax is deducted from your FASTag account when you pass through a FASTag toll lane. Whenever you make a FASTag recharge, the amount gets added to your FAStag account and can be deducted while you pass through the FASTag toll lines.
Can FASTag be recharged at the toll plaza?
No, you should recharge your FASTag beforehand so that you don’t find any trouble at the toll booths. You will have to pay the double amount if you make offline toll payments.
Since when will FASTag become mandatory?
Having a FASTag on your vehicle has become mandatory since January 15, 2020. You will need to pay double if you fail to have a FASTag on your vehicle as a penalty.
Can the FASTag balance be transferred?
No, you cannot transfer the FASTag balance to one account from another. Once you recharge your FASTag with some money, you can only spend it by paying the toll tax on the FASTag toll lanes.
What to do if the user has paid the FASTag recharge but it doesn’t show in the account
All FASTag recharges are instant and get credited almost instantly; sometimes it may take longer to reflect the balance. Alternatively, the customer can payRup customer care and get it verified.
If someone wishes to block the FASTag account in case a car is stolen, how do they do so?
The customer should call his issuing bank’s customer care number and block his FASTag account immediately.
